Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations. 

Job Summary:

The Summer Intern will work Special Events in the Billings Market. The work schedule is a full day on Thursdays, as well as varying evenings and weekends. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handle a wide array of different beverage products, safely and efficiently
  • Pre-load venues to prepare for special events
  • Set up draft trailers and other equipment
  • Restock and replenish beverages and supplies to points of sale throughout special events
  • Work with other event staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow direction and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
  • On Premise promotional experience is preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a face-paced, loud environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Enjoys a job where they are active and moves around often
  • Prefers a flexible, dynamic job, as this is not a 9-5 “office job”

Physical Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
  • Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds throughout the duration of the shift
